THEATRE ACADEMY for 6-18 year olds
OUR ORIGINAL WORKSHOP est. 2015
Discover your capabilities and strengths as a performer and learn the fundamentals of drama, storytelling, collaboration, and personal expression. Whilst enjoying all the magic of live theatre!
During the workshops, students will be taken through a variety of fun and engaging drama games and exercises, focusing on on the many different elements of stage acting including; improvisation, script work, character creation and development, rehearsal techniques, training the voice and body and much more.
Our Theatre Academy students have the opportunity to perform in an original live performance twice a year; June and December.

SCREEN ACTING ACADEMY for 8-18 year olds
LIGHTS, CAMERA, ACTION!
All the fun of our original drama workshops but for screen! Students will learn the fundamentals of acting and performance whilst preparing for acting in front of the camera.
They will learn character development, on camera techniques, how to break down a script, the actor/director relationship, casting techniques and much more.
Students will use the acting skills and techniques they learn and apply them to scenes which they will rehearse and prepare to be filmed under professional conditions.

FILM ACADEMY for 12-18 year olds
DISCOVER THE FASCINATING WORLD OF FILMMAKING
Students will have the opportunity to embrace their creativity through screenwriting, directing, cinematography, set design and editing. They will put the skills they learn to work in weekly projects and exercises.
At the end of the term the students will form a crew and work together as directors, cinematographers, sound technicians, set designers and assistant directors as they work with actors to produce their own original scenes and short films.

FOR THE LITTLE ONES
STORY DRAMA for 3-5 year olds
INTERACTIVE STORYTELLING & DRAMA GAMES
The interactive workshops include creative movement, story dramatisations, and improvisational role-playing. Performance skills such as concentration, emotional awareness, and characterisation are explored, allowing children to express themselves imaginatively by improvising stories and creating original ideas.
