There are many transferable benefits of Improvisation and through our fun and engaging games and exercises you will have the opportunity to boost your confidence, develop creative thinking, improve communication, listening and public speaking skills and learn how to be in the moment whilst making new friends and having a whole lot of fun!
Our drama workshops are practical hands-on stage acting classes led in English by professionally trained actors.
The classes include a variety drama based games, exercises, improvisations, script work, character development, rehearsal techniques and much more.
You’ll be encouraged to take an imaginative and enthusiastic approach to theatre, as you discover and build a range of physical, vocal and acting skills.
We will explore techniques by some of the leading theatre practitioners such as Stanislavsky and Meisner whilst drawing upon the latest developments in the industry, enhanced by our teachers’ knowledge and experience.
Students will apply the skills and techniques they have developed to staged performances.
Students will learn the fundamentals of acting and performance whilst preparing for acting in front of the camera.
We will explore different the techniques used for TV and film whilst learning about camera technique, character building, audition technique, monologue and duologue work, and much more. You will also learn about the industry and how to start working as a screen actor.
Students will use the acting skills and techniques they learn and apply them to scenes, duologues and monologues which they will rehearse and prepare to be filmed.

WHAT IF I DON'T HAVE ANY EXPERIENCE?
No worries, no previous experience is necessary. The best thing to do is just come along and give it a go, only then will you know if this is something you would like to do. After our free taster classes you will have the choice to sign up to our weekly classes.
It is important to note that our main priority is to create a safe and encouraging environment where our students feel confident to explore their creativity freely without judgement.
ARE THERE BEGINNER AND ADVANCED CLASSES?
After our free taster classes you will have the choice to sign up to our weekly classes. Depending on the range of ability and experience of our students we may split the class into two groups to ensure that the appropriate level of training is delivered to each person.
Everyone is invited to try their first class for free, so really have nothing to lose!
