We are currently looking for part-time and ad hoc drama teachers to join our growing team.

What we are looking for...

  • Energetic, inspiring and enthusiastic individuals, preferably with experience in teaching drama/acting.

  • Working/experienced actors or recent graduates with formal training who are looking for a rewarding way to utilise their skills and earn an extra income.

  • Native or Fluent English speakers.

  • Barcelona based - our workshops take place in Barcelona, Sitges and Castelldefels, applicants must be able to easily commute.

  • Available for evenings and Saturdays.

  • Available to start in September.

Hours: Wednesday-Friday afternoons/evenings and Saturday mornings (term time) + potential holiday workshops (Christmas, Easter, half terms, summer)

Pay: Starting rate 12€ per hour with the opportunity to increase depending on experience and responsibilities given

  • Running warm up games and exercises
  • Assisting workshop leaders
  • Teaching acting and performance skills, such as voice and movement, to students aged 3-18 years

  • Acting as a role model for students by demonstrating appropriate behaviour in class and on stage/set

  • Conducting workshops on acting techniques, acting methods, audition techniques, and other topics

  • Assisting with designing theatre/film productions by working with directors and actors to develop character development, and assisting with technical elements such as lighting and sound

  • Conducting acting classes that help students develop their skills and improve their knowledge of the industry

  • Assisting with backstage work for end of term projects such as building and painting sets and props, helping to run rehearsals, and dressing actors for their roles

  • Evaluating student progress and encouraging students with their development

  • Promote the general progress and well-being of individual students and of any class or group of students assigned to them

  • Provide guidance and advice to students on acting and the performing arts industry

  • Communicate and consult with the parents of students, as directed by the owners.


  • Potential candidates must have;

    • A minimum of 2 years professional industry experience as a working actor either in theatre, on screen or both

    • and/or 2 years formal and vocational acting training

  • Previous teaching experience is preferred, particularly experience in working with young people

  • Experience in various acting techniques

  • Good knowledge of acting practitioners and methods


  • Native or fluent level of English
  • Great communication skills

  • A good team player, friendly and personable with the ability to collaborate well with others

  • High level of empathy and patience

  • Good organisation skills

  • Quick leaner, open to new ideas/concepts, with the ability to quickly learn and deliver our philosophy of teaching and positive reinforcement

  • Ability to work unsupervised and quickly think on their feet

  • Good knowledge of Child Safeguarding is preferred but can be delivered in training


  • Located within easy commuting distance from the workshop locations; Barcelona, Sitges and Castelldefels
  • Ability to work flexibly if needed

  • Freelancers/autónomos preferred but the company can offer contracts if the right candidate is found
