What is a Showreel?
An actor’s showreel is like a video showcase – it’s a portfolio of footage that you can use to send to agents and casting directors. Showreels give casting directors the opportunity to see how you come across on camera and your versatility as an actor.
What to Expect:
The SHOWREEL BOOTCAMP is a 5-day summer workshop designed to provide young actors, with the tools and experience they need to excel in the world of screen acting. Each actor will perform in contrasting scenes which will be recorded under film set conditions. Upon completion, they will receive a fully edited showreel.
Who is it for:
This workshop is perfect for young actors who are curious about the screen industry or who want to sharpen their skillset in a supportive and professional environment. If you are interested in applying to agencies and you would like to start going to castings then this workshop is a must.
DAY 1: GETTING STARTED
Get to know your fellow actors and our industry professionals as we create a supportive environment for learning and growth. Dive into techniques to develop your screen acting skills, as well as casting techniques and set the stage for an exciting week ahead.
